In 2015, RMJM Dubai made the decision to relocate its office to Dubai Design District (d3), a purpose-built, free-trade zone (FTZ) intended to become the vibrant heart of the creative industries in the Middle East. The immediate challenge was to design an office befitting the official headquarters of an international practice with over 45 years’ experience in the region, alongside providing a creative and attractive workplace for employees. One of the highlights of this project was the focus put on accommodating a range of distinct but equally enthralling workspaces, known as (1) Active (2) Collaborative and (3) Quiet.
